What are Serum Autologous Eye (ASEDs) Drops?

Serum Autologous Eye Drops, which are also referred to as Serum Tears, are a unique type of autologous eye drop that harnesses the nutrient-healing properties of the patient's blood to nourish and safeguard the cells of the eye. Because they are made from the patient's blood, they have the ability to swiftly and effectively address the eye's specific requirements. These drops are an excellent option for treating dry eye disease, allergies, and eye infections due to their unique composition. In addition, the drops include natural vitamins and minerals that contribute to the overall health of the eyes and support healthy vision. Regular use of serum autologous eye drops can alleviate inflammation, dryness, and irritation.

Innovative Treatment for Chronic Dry Eye Syndrome

Keratoconjunctivitis sicca, commonly referred to as chronic dry eye syndrome, is a condition in which the eyes do not produce enough tears, causing discomfort and irritation. Tears are crucial in maintaining the cornea's health and providing moisture for comfortable eyesight. Individuals suffering from this condition may experience constant sensations of foreign bodies in their eyes, along with itching, burning, and dryness. Visual acuity may be impaired, and contact lens wear can be problematic. Certain medical conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, and Sjögren’s Syndrome, as well as medication side effects and environmental factors such as wind and smoke exposure, may all contribute to chronic dry eye syndrome. Although no permanent cure exists, a variety of treatments are available to alleviate symptoms. These include autologous eye drops, artificial tears, ointments, and punctal plugs. Surgery may also be necessary to improve tear production and drainage.
